Strategy Assistance
Our consultancy services are used by both our managed service clients and new clients seeking independent assistance. For service clients without internal IT resource, we fulfil the role of Virtual CIO and assist the executive IT sponsor with all matters of ICT strategy, budgets and investment.
For non-service clients, looking for fixed term/scope assistance, ISN Solutions are typically employed to audit their environment, report our recommendations and assist with their implementation, if required. This includes compliance assessments, such as ISO, GDPR and Cyber Essentials.
For larger clients with internal IT, our services are often employed to independently assess enterprise solution options, compile detailed scope of works for issuing tenders, evaluate the associated vendor responses and oversee the project on behalf of the client, where necessary.
Project Consultancy
With our experience in Oil & Gas, particularly turnkey EPC projects and Upstream E&P operations, much of our professional consultancy services are related to the Energy Industry. Our appreciation of the Upstream sector data requirements (G&G), is one of our key differentiators.
Our consultancy resources are accustomed to working remotely, on client sites, overseas, shipyards and offshore. We are engaged as Telecoms and ICT subject matter experts, to supplement the client project team, either on a full-time, fixed-term basis or part-time, as-required. Our clients have the comfort that our in-house resource can be available when-needed, across the life-cycle of the project, unlike a fixed-term contractor.
For larger and longer-term projects, we can assist from conceptual design through to commissioning, acceptance and handover.
Oil & Gas Projects
For Oil & Gas projects, in relation to Telecoms and ICT systems, our consultancy work scopes consist of performing independent management and technical authority services on behalf of the client, to typically help deliver:
- Field development consultancy (conceptual, pre-FEED)
- Greenfield project consultancy (FEED to EPC award)
- Client representation to main project contractor, telecoms system integrator and other third-party sub-contractors
- Temporary comms for drilling campaigns (field offices, rigs, well sites)

- Remote data visualisation (G&G)
