It’s now over a week since the Prime Ministers speech asking that, for those who can, we work remotely from home. Like many others, prior to this, ISN Solutions had already implemented our Business Continuity Plan and were 100% remote working across our organisation. After the initial huge surge of client requests to enable remote working, for many that had never done so before, it seems like the dust is beginning to settle.
All IT MSPs, support companies and internal IT teams will have had to deal with the same issues over this extremely busy period - respect to you all, in helping your colleagues stay safe at home. We were pleased to receive a thank-you from one of our clients recently – Inmarsat, for helping them achieve the following in just one week:
- Increase their remote VPN connections by over 300%
- Increase their Citrix connections by over 200%
- Enabling over 1,700 users to work remotely
